Erosion Control

Through years of experience using various approaches, we have established a portfolio of tools we mix and match to ensure soil remains where it should be. Stabilization techniques include hydro-seeding with any number of grass and wildflower combinations, as well as blown straw, bonded fiber matrix blankets, matting, wattles, retaining walls, silt fences, gabions, rock-fall netting, and other Prevention (SWPPP) erosion control plans, including construction entrances, concrete washouts, straw maintenance and cleaning to keep drains free of silt and debris.

SWPPP - Storm Water pollution prevention plans are a requirement for all construction projects. As a convenience to the builder we provide implementation, installation, maintenance and final removal of BMP for any of our active or backlogged projects. Due to the nature of unpredictable weather not knowing if a storm will be a "sprinkle or downpour" we reserve this service for clients that have contracted with us for their landscape and irrigation installations. SWPPP provided with the landscape plans will be priced as a line item on our proposal. We give a detail breakdown on a unit cost of additional BMP that would be supplemental to a base price. Service and performance to our valued customers is our priority and we will be there for your erosion control needs if requested.

Erosion Control

Regulations continue to define how projects must be handled to prevent environmental damage. With each new regulation comes a host of measures that must be performed to ensure compliance. At East Bay Construction, we offer the complete range of environmental protection and erosion control services to keep you on the right side of the regulatory officials. From saving endangered salamanders to protecting the fragile ecosystems of pools and streams to holding a hillside in place, we provide and skillfully apply the appropriate protection measures.

Hydro-seed

Hydro-seed offers a smart, cost-effective way to establish grasses rapidly for erosion prevention. At East Bay Construction, we maintain a fleet of hydro-seed trucks equipped with the most advanced systems available and manned by experienced crews. Slurry mixtures can be custom designed to meet site needs and can include any number of grasses and wildflowers. We carefully match each seed combination with the appropriate fertilizer and mulch to ensure site stability and rapid germination.
