Safety Policy Indicator

Employees and clients alike appreciate that preventing injuries is one of our top priorities. To that end, we employ a full-time safety manager and all of our foremen are first-aid and fire-safety trained and CPR certified. Our safety manager conducts daily unscheduled site visits and weekly tailgate sessions to discuss safety issues with all employees. In addition, we equip each truck with safety gear, including a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. We also require employees on job sites to wear safety vests and hard hats.

East Bay Construction is part of a highly selective self-insurance group that has joined together to provide worker's compensation coverage. Remaining in the group requires proof that we are meeting stringent safety standards and maintaining an excellent safety record. In addition to our daily site checks, representatives from our insurance group also drop in unannounced to perform safety spot checks.
